Due to the popularity of European size single beds in the UK today, Highgrove Beds have added the Solar Luxury Dream IKEA size mattress to their range of longer single mattresses.The Solar Luxury Dream mattress has a firm, supportive feel and is upholstered in a hard wearing damask cover that features a hand tufted finish for extra durability.

Hand tufting pre-tensions the mattress by passing a series of tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with a cotton tuft. 

The mattress has a sturdy open coil interior, a system made up of hourglass shaped springs connected into one single unit by a spiral wire, also known as a helical wire.

To further strengthen the unit, a thick rod edge wire is attached to the perimeter of the spring interior.

This wire prevents border breakdown and allows you the full use of the mattress width.

At 200cm in length, the Solar Luxury Dream IKEA size mattress is 10cm longer than a standard single mattress and will provide a firm and supportive sleeping surface.
